Grand in size and design, this formal dining set is characterized by a timeless classic trestle table given a luxurious style update with traditionally turned pedestals and a dentil moulded apron to compliment today's transitionally furnished home. The entire set is constructed from select hardwood solids and hickory veneers with a weathered, distressed finish. Arm chairs feature neutral canvas-upholstered seats and backrests with brass nailhead trim, fully turned legs connected by a decorative stretcher and sloped and scrolled armrests, while the side chairs offer contoured wooden seats and open three-panel backrests. The table top is slatted and includes two 18-inch extension leaves that extend the overall table depth from 83.5" to 101.5" to 119.5" to accommodate as many as twelve guests.
