The chairs are a fairly accurate rendition of the traditional mission design. However, there are a few sloppy construction details that result in a less than pleasing look. The ends of the side stretchers do not match up to the legs with a smart fitting joint. The joints thus look sloppy. The seat bottoms are not cut with a close fit to the frame. This results in almost a 1/4" space on each side next to the rear legs.
